VA Certificate Programs

Two New Certificate Programs Coming in Early 2012:
The HR Foundational and HR Foundational ER/LR Certificate Programs offer all VA HR Professionals an opportunity to obtain essential knowledge and skills. The programs are intended for:

• Recent additions to the VA HR workforce who want to establish a solid foundation for service excellence and career growth
• HR assistants who aspire to become HR specialists
• Experienced HR professionals who want to keep up with recent changes in HR practice

The certificate programs will help participants build and demonstrate proficiency in areas identified as critical to successful HR practice at VA, such as analysis and problem solving, customer service, oral and written communication, planning and time management, and guiding/influencing.
